RSS Bot - News Notifier App Reviews

Wanted to use this to monitor Craig’s List searches, but it doesn’t recognize Craig’s List RSS feeds as valid feeds.

Buggy after updating to v2.1. But v2.2 fixed it. I love this app for science stories and local breaking news.

I’ve used this app for a while now and seen it improve. It has a very simplisitc function, other RSS readers over complicate things. After Export option was added, RSS Bot became the ideal RSS reader for me. Thank you!

When starting up the computer, the app goes immediately to the add a feed screen, instead of just loading. Going to the developer website, there is no support for this app. I hope they read this on the app store and do something about it.

This app is my favourite RSS reader but I’ve faced two minor glitches along the way. One being that when I add a new feed through the app, the window that pops up to do this appears at the very bottom of my screen, and every time it happens I have to hide my dock to be able to input the settings for the new feed. Another issue that I’ve faced only with the newest version is that the window with all my subscribed feeds pops up at startup which is quite unnecessary, I only ever need that window when I need to change my settings which is very rarely, and it’s a bit of an annoyance to close the window every time. Other than these minor hiccups I’m very happy with the app, keep up the good work!
